Tanner City Fencers Club

Tanner City Fencers Club

Come learn to fence with the best in a positive, energetic,   and casual atmosphere!  Founded in 1958 by Maître Joe Pechinsky, TCFC is led by Jane Hall Carter and James Carter, a team of highly accomplished fencers and coaches who donate their time each week to advance the sport of fencing. Fencing promotes physical fitness, the ability to develop strategy and concentration, and builds camaraderie and respect.  TCFC is open to fencers ages 7 and up, kids and adults, from beginners to competitive fencers- no experience necessary: all skill levels are welcome.  Membership with TCFC includes group and private lessons, as well as open fencing in foil, sabre, and épée.  In addition, informal instruction is always available from other members.  The club provides all necessary fencing equipment.  There is no floor fee; a nominal yearly membership helps defray equipment costs.
