Help your child prepare for independence with our Home Alone Safety Course! This program prepares kids for situations that can happen when staying home alone, from the unexpected knock on the door to the 911 emergency phone call. It will also help ease the minds of parents who decide the time has come to leave their kids home alone or with siblings.

This interactive and fun course, taught by Peabody Recreation Staff Member Kelly Crotty, Sandi Drover from the Healthy Peabody Collaborative, Officer Ricci from our very own Peabody Police Department, and Ryan Gill from the Peabody Fire Department covers a range of safety topics including:

Tips to be safe when staying home alone
Safety to and from school
Phone & Internet safety
Basic first aid
Handling emergencies
Lots of prevention!
