Jen is originally from Camden, Maine. She graduated from Keene State College, where she studied physical education for grades K-12. Before her time in Peabody, Jen was a youth coordinator for the YWCA of greater Newburyport. This is her seventeenth year with Peabody Parks & Recreation, and her third as Director. Jen loves the interaction with people and seeing the impact our department has on people’s lives in and around Peabody. “I love to see people smile, play, and enjoy our parks and programs.” When she’s not at work, Jen enjoys downhill skiing, cooking, being outdoors, camping, knitting, traveling and enjoying her friends.

Sally Ledbury

Sally was born and raised in Ipswich. She studied at the Whittier Regional VocationalTechnical School in Haverhill before working with Budget Pools. Sally has recently joined our department after several years in the Peabody Treasurer’s Office. When she’s not busy with departmental finances and communicating with our residents, she enjoys skiing, camping, sewing, spending time with her family and taking trips to the beach.
Parks & Forestry Superintendent

Brian is originally from North Reading and earned his BA in Plant and Soil Science at UMASS, Amherst. Before serving as our Parks and Forestry Superintendent, he worked for the Meadows at Peabody golf course. Brian is in his third year with our department, loves working outdoors, and truly appreciates getting to see the daily payoff derived from the hard work of his crews. When he’s not managing our city’s trees and parks, Brian enjoys traveling, golfing and spending time with his family, especially if it’s outside.

Maureen (aka Moe) joined our team in the late fall of 2015 with a background in environmental science, team building, youth development, and camping. Originally from Pembroke MA, Moe has had the opportunity to live and work in CA, CT, NY and Paris, France. She loves using adventure based experiential education to help others in their development of selfconfidence and life skills. An outdoor enthusiast and eternal Girl Scout, Moe enjoys exploring new areas with her pup, diving into books, camping with friends and family, winter sports and all things Fresh-Air
