POWER UP AT PTV: Video Game Club
Get ready to press start on creativity! In this four-week program, students will explore the world of streaming, video games, and digital storytelling. Each week, kids will work together to create fun on-camera segments, practice basic streaming skills, learn how shows are produced at Peabody TV, and try out age-appropriate games that inspire teamwork and problem-solving. With access to Nintendo Switch 2 consoles, PlayStation 5, VR headsets, and plenty of gaming computers, students get hands-on experience using next-gen gear while having a blast.

Summer PYTV Video Production Club
Let your imagination be heard. Do you want to create your own videos based on your story ideas? In this video production club, participants will learn foundational skills in the realm of video production over the course of 11 weeks. Club members will be able to experience each role of production - from sitting in the directors chair, to operating state of the art switchers, to framing the shots as the camera operator, to being the star! They’ll even make some green screen magic occur! Both returning and new participants will have fun learning the art of video production while returning participants will get right into creating while learning advanced techniques of video production, including a special focus on external audio equipment, and new participants will learn how to write scripts, capture great shots with professional equipment, and edit the final product.Summer program runs Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm.
