We are once again running our amazing half-day program for 5 days!
This program introduces preschoolers through 1st graders to a summer program experience. Activities may include, but not limited to: daily crafts, singing, story time, games, and more! Each week includes a special guest or activity! All participants must be potty trained.Morning Session 8:30-11:30amAfternoon Session 11:45-2:45pm*Please note: you may only sign up for morning OR afternoon. NOT BOTH. MUSEUM TUESDAYS
Tuesdays TBDDrop-off will be at the East End Veterans Park (45 Walnut St.) at regular program time.Pick-up will be at the North Shore Children's Museum (10 Main St.) at regular time.Once we are all at the park, we will walk up the path to the North Shore Children's Museum and spend our time exploring and playing in all the amazing rooms inside the museum! Inclusion SupportThis program is inclusive for people with diverse abilities! We are excited to best support every child this summer!Rainy Day InformationWe will try to stay outside as much as possible. Based at the McCarthy Elementary School, we look forward to another phenomenal summer of sports, field games, art and crafts, music, nature projects, and more! We have a great deal planned for our playground program participants, including special days and surprises! Our energetic and highly qualified staff members are looking forward to another summer with your child(ren) and have lots of new ideas and great activities planned for them this summer. Theme Weeks/Field Trips This year each week will have a fun theme! Each day's activities will correlate with the theme. Participants must wear their Peabody Recreation shirt on field trips. Based at the McCarthy Elementary School, we look forward to another phenomenal summer of sports, field games, art and crafts, music, nature projects, and more! We have a great deal planned for our playground program participants, including special days and surprises! Our energetic and highly qualified staff members are looking forward to another summer with your child(ren) and have lots of new ideas and great activities planned for them this summer. Theme Weeks/Field Trips This year each week will have a fun theme! Each day's activities will correlate with the theme. Participants must wear their Peabody Recreation shirt on field trips. Based at the McCarthy Elementary School, we look forward to another phenomenal summer of sports, field games, art and crafts, music, nature projects, and more! We have a great deal planned for our playground program participants, including special days and surprises! Our energetic and highly qualified staff members are looking forward to another summer with your child(ren) and have lots of new ideas and great activities planned for them this summer. Theme Weeks/Field Trips This year each week will have a fun theme! Each day's activities will correlate with the theme. Participants must wear their Peabody Recreation shirt on field trips. Shirts will be distributed to participants on Monday of their session. *Field trips are subject to change due to weather and/or site needs.Session 1: 6/29-7/2Super HeroesField Trip: New England Party AnimalsSession 2: 7/6-7/10Lights, Camera, Action!
