Public Safety Academy for Teens - 2026 Public Safety Academy Join the Peabody Recreation Department as we partner with the Peabody Police Department and the Peabody Fire Department for their hands on training programs! We’ll do some Crime Scene Investigation and Fire fighter Training.It's time to get a clue about forensic science. Teens will have the for hands on training in many of the areas in which science and technology are used in police and fire investigations to gather evidence at "crime scenes" and fires. Participants will train with the Peabody Fire Department, MA State Police & Fire Investigation Units, Atlantic Ambulance personnel, Peabody Police Department, and the District Attorney's Office. It's about challenging yourself, learning teamwork, and making new friends! *Please note, daily schedule is subject to change due to the nature of the program.**Some days may be hosted at locations other than Higgins (ex. fire station)

PA Athletics Basketball Camp - COED - PA ATHLETICS 1st-9th Grade PA Athletics is back for Summer 2026! This year, camps will be split into smaller age ranges to ensure targeted skills and drills at each level!PA Athletics Camp Directors are college level coaches that have experience conducting camps of all age groups. Our camp counselors are college athletes that bring energy, enthusiasm, and personal experience as players to our camps, providing campers with role models to look up to and learn from. PA Athletics Camps are in alignment with all Massachusetts Board of Public Health requirements and each member of their team has passed CORI and SORI background checks. Participants must bring their own lunch, snack, and refillable water bottle. Please make sure lunch and snacks are peanut free. After registration, an information packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers. The State of Massachusetts requires a copy of the participant's most recent physical (must be within the last 18 months) and record of immunizations.
