April Vacation Week - Boston Red Sox Trip - Kid's Red Sox Game
Red Sox Game and Kid's Run the Bases! 4/24 9AM-6:30PM (depart Higgins at approx. 11 am)Game time: 1:35pm*Please Note: This trip is non-refundable.Join Peabody Recreation on Thursday, April 24th for a full day of baseball fun! We will meet at Higgins Middle School at 9am. We will play games and enjoy a snack (packed by participants) before boarding the bus. The bus will depart from Higgins at 11 am to get us in to Fenway ahead of the 1:35pm game start time. After the game, the kid's will get to run the bases at Fenway Park! We anticipate leaving Fenway by 5:30 at the latest to return to Higgins at 6:30. In the event of any time changes, please be on the lookout for email and text alerts. We will also post any changes to our Facebook and Instagram pages.This event is open for children in grades 2-8. There will be a 1:8 staff to participant ratio for this event. Please note: All fans entering Fenway Park are subject to a safety screening which may include the use of metal detectors or a physical search by a trained team member. By registering for this event, you are consenting to your childs person or belongings being searched if deemed necessary by Fenway Park staff. Bags are not permitted for this trip, unless medically necessary. If there is a medical need, please alert us at PeabodyRecreation@gmail.com in advance of the trip.No outside food and beverages will be allowed into the park on this trip. Peabody Recreation will provide one sealed water bottle per child upon exiting the bus before entry to the park. Participants may leave a snack and/or drink on the bus for our return ride back. Please be aware children will be eating on a bus and try to provide a mess-free snack and water. All bags and items will be left on the bus. Please do not pack any valuables as Peabody Recreation, nor the bus company, are responsible for anything that is lost or stolen.Please pack your child with a couple snacks (one for before departing and one for the ride home)! Please provide a reusable water bottle for the day. Peabody Recreation will provide one sealed water bottle for entering Fenway Park, but will not be distributing these until departing from the bus upon arrival. Fenway Park is a cashless venue. Our recommendation is to purchase a pre-loaded gift card for use at the park if interested in sending your child with money for food or souvenirs.
