Public Safety Academy for Teens - 2026 Public Safety Academy
Join the Peabody Recreation Department as we partner with the Peabody Police Department and the Peabody Fire Department for their hands on training programs! We’ll do some Crime Scene Investigation and Fire fighter Training.It's time to get a clue about forensic science. Teens will have the for hands on training in many of the areas in which science and technology are used in police and fire investigations to gather evidence at "crime scenes" and fires. Participants will train with the Peabody Fire Department, MA State Police & Fire Investigation Units, Atlantic Ambulance personnel, Peabody Police Department, and the District Attorney's Office. It's about challenging yourself, learning teamwork, and making new friends! *Please note, daily schedule is subject to change due to the nature of the program.**Some days may be hosted at locations other than Higgins (ex. fire station)
