Welcome to the Tanner City Park Program! Based at parks around the City of Peabody, we look forward to another phenomenal summer of sports, field games, art and crafts, music, nature projects, and more! We have a great deal planned for our playground program participants, including special days and surprises! Our energetic and highly qualified staff members are looking forward to another summer with your children and have lots of new ideas and great activities planned for them this summer.  Please note: All sites will be running for weeks 1-7. If Peabody has more than 3 snow days, Week 1 will be cancelled and all programs will start on Week 2 (July 7-July 11).Sites1. Carroll Savage Park at South School2. O'Connor Park at Welch School3. Participants will journey to the Museum of Science for an unforgettable trip, where they’ll experience hands-on exhibits, explore the mysteries of the cosmos, and even get a close-up look at cutting-edge space technology. This week is sure to spark curiosity and fuel imaginations leaving participants feeling like they’ve just launched into the stars!Session 3: July 14- July 18 Drenched in FunField Trip: Franklin Park Zoo and Field Day at Carroll Savage ParkGet ready for a week filled with splash-tastic adventures and wild encounters! From water games to an exciting trip to the zoo, participants will experience the wonders of wildlife up close while staying cool. At the zoo, they’ll explore animal habitats, learn about conservation, and maybe even get the chance to meet some of their favorite creatures. This week is all about making a splash, having fun, and discovering the amazing animals that share our world!Session 4: July 21- July 25 CircusField Trip: Nova Adventure Park* and Field Day at O'Conner Park (Welch School)Step right up for a week of high-flying fun and circus-inspired thrills! Participants will experience the excitement of circus acts through juggling, and clowning around, all leading up to a heart-pounding trip to the trampoline park, Skyzone. There, they'll soar through the air, flipping and bouncing like true circus performers! With plenty of laughter, skill-building, and airborne excitement, this week is sure to be a showstopper!Session 5: July 28- August 1 All Star AthleticsField Trip: Luau at Lynch Park in Beverly and Field Day at Lake St (McCarthy School) Get ready to unleash your inner champion! This week is all about celebrating sports, teamwork, and personal bests. Participants will participate in exciting challenges, from relay races to obstacle courses, and sharpen their skills in everything from soccer to basketball. Plus, we’ll have a special field trip to a Lynch Park in Beverly, where all parks from Peabody and Beverly will compete in fun challenges! Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a first-timer, this week promises action-packed fun and a chance to be an All-Star!   Session 6: August 4- August 8  Wild, Wild WestField Trip: In the Game Peabody and Field Day at Jubilee (West School)Saddle up! Participants will step into the boots of cowboys and cowgirls as they embark on exciting western-themed activities, cowboy crafts, and line dancing! This week will feel like an adventure straight out of the frontier! Session 7: August 11- August 15 OlympicsSpecial Activity: Color Wars at Higgins Middle School Participants will compete in a variety of fun, spirited events everything from relay races and obstacle courses to soccer channeling their inner Olympians. With a park trophy at Color Wars on the line, teamwork and sportsmanship will shine as participants represent their park and aim for victory in a week full of action, excitement, and friendly competition. Who will take home the gold at Color Wars? Welcome to the Tiny Tanner City Park Program atMcCarthy School! We are once again running our amazing half-day program for Monday-Friday for 6 weeks this summer!**New this year: We are offering a Morning and Afternoon Session!**Please note: Participants can choose either morning or afternoon session, but not both. This is still intended to be a half day program for ages 3-6. This program introduces our youngest participants (ages 3-6) to a summer program experience. Activities may include, but are not limited to: daily crafts, singing, story time, games, and more! Each week includes a special guest, activity, or field trip! All participants must be potty trained. Participants may be dismissed from the program if they are not potty trained. Welcome to the Tanner City Park Program! Based at parks around the City of Peabody, we look forward to another phenomenal summer of sports, field games, art and crafts, music, nature projects, and more! We have a great deal planned for our playground program participants, including special days and surprises! Our energetic and highly qualified staff members are looking forward to another summer with your children and have lots of new ideas and great activities planned for them this summer.  Please note: All sites will be running for weeks 1-7. If Peabody has more than 3 snow days, Week 1 will be cancelled and all programs will start on Week 2 (July 7-July 11).Sites1. Carroll Savage Park at South School2. O'Connor Park at Welch School3. It’s a week of spirited activities that bring campers together in true Independence Day style!Session 2:  July 7- July 11 Out of this WorldField Trip: Museum of ScienceBlast off into an intergalactic adventure as we explore the wonders of space and science! Participants will journey to the Museum of Science for an unforgettable trip, where they’ll experience hands-on exhibits, explore the mysteries of the cosmos, and even get a close-up look at cutting-edge space technology. This week is sure to spark curiosity and fuel imaginations leaving participants feeling like they’ve just launched into the stars!Session 3: July 14- July 18 Drenched in FunField Trip: Franklin Park Zoo and Field Day at Carroll Savage ParkGet ready for a week filled with splash-tastic adventures and wild encounters! From water games to an exciting trip to the zoo, participants will experience the wonders of wildlife up close while staying cool. At the zoo, they’ll explore animal habitats, learn about conservation, and maybe even get the chance to meet some of their favorite creatures. This week is all about making a splash, having fun, and discovering the amazing animals that share our world!Session 4: July 21- July 25 CircusField Trip: Nova Adventure Park* and Field Day at O'Conner Park (Welch School)Step right up for a week of high-flying fun and circus-inspired thrills! Participants will experience the excitement of circus acts through juggling, and clowning around, all leading up to a heart-pounding trip to the trampoline park, Skyzone. There, they'll soar through the air, flipping and bouncing like true circus performers! With plenty of laughter, skill-building, and airborne excitement, this week is sure to be a showstopper!Session 5: July 28- August 1 All Star AthleticsField Trip: Luau at Lynch Park in Beverly and Field Day at Lake St (McCarthy School) Get ready to unleash your inner champion! This week is all about celebrating sports, teamwork, and personal bests. Participants will participate in exciting challenges, from relay races to obstacle courses, and sharpen their skills in everything from soccer to basketball. Plus, we’ll have a special field trip to a Lynch Park in Beverly, where all parks from Peabody and Beverly will compete in fun challenges! Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a first-timer, this week promises action-packed fun and a chance to be an All-Star!   Session 6: August 4- August 8  Wild, Wild WestField Trip: In the Game Peabody and Field Day at Jubilee (West School)Saddle up! Participants will step into the boots of cowboys and cowgirls as they embark on exciting western-themed activities, cowboy crafts, and line dancing!
