Welcome to Teen Tanners Playground Program at James St.!
Pre-Teens and Teens entering grades 6-8 need their own space to have fun, and James Street park is where it's at! This playground program keeps participants off their devices all summer long as they socialize and play with their peers! Participants can look forward to sports, games, crafts, and field trips!
Rainy Day Information
If there is inclement weather throughout the day, we will go inside the school until the inclement weather passes. We will try to stay outside as much as possible.

Swim Test
For all field trips to bodies of water, your child must complete a swim test ahead of time OR wear a life jacket the entire time. All participants will need to complete a swim test prior to attending their water based field trips. Click HERE for additional swim test information and HERE for the form.
To complete a FREE swim test, please show up to the Torigian Family YMCA (259 Lynnfield St, Peabody, MA 01960) during one of the following dates and times. No appointment is required. During the test, a parent needs to be present, with an ID, and you must bring a copy of your receipt for our program.

Inclusion Support
If your child has diverse abilities, and you think your child would benefit from receiving support in this program from an inclusion specialist, please register for inclusion support, filling out all forms in as much detail as possible. Please note, this registration is not a separate program, but it is your way of asking our department for support services. We will do our best to support as many children as possible on a first come first serve basis.
