Intro to PYTV Workshop for South School 3-5 Graders
What's it like to operate a video camera, write a story, produce a pod cast, direct an TV show? We've teamed up with the Peabody TV and the South School to offer 2 introductory workshops to show you exactly that.
Join the Peabody TV staff on Monday, Dec. 2 or 16th from 3-5pm at the South School. They'll show you some of the coolest equipment they have and some of the techniques they teach. Register today!
PYTV Video Production Club Grades 3-5
Let your imagination be heard. Do you want to create your own videos based on your story ideas? In this video production club, participants will learn foundational skills in the realm of video production over the course of 11 weeks. Club members will be able to experience each role of production - from sitting in the directors chair, to operating state of the art switchers, to framing the shots as the camera operator, to being the star! They’ll even make some green screen magic occur! Both returning and new participants will have fun learning the art of video production while returning participants will get right into creating while learning advanced techniques of video production, including a special focus on external audio equipment, and new participants will learn how to write scripts, capture great shots with professional equipment, and edit the final product.
