Peabody Basketball School 2026 - Boys Basketball School: Session 1 2026 The Peabody Basketball School will be running 3 separate weeks of its basketball program this summer, including 2 sessions for boys and 1 session for girls. The Peabody Basketball School provides instruction for youth basketball players of all skill levels. The 4 day program offers offensive and defensive instruction, 5 on 5 games, and competitions. The Peabody Basketball School teaches skills and drills that players can use on their own. Our basketball school provides a fun and exciting experience. We stress fundamentals and show players how to improve their basketball game.

The Tiny Tanners, Red Ball, and Orange ball program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets, court sizes, and the latest fun and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker!Meet the instructor:Returning to Peabody Recreation is Coach Maria Schena! Maria is a creative and engaging teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching students of all ages!Inclement Weather:If inclement weather is in the forecast, we will aim to make up lessons that same week when possible. Adult Tennis In the Parks - (SUMMER) Adult Skills and Drills Adult Tennis In the Parks- Come Play! Our Adults Skills and Drills Tennis Program is designed for those who want to learn the fundamentals of tennis and for players looking to improve their game! Each night, players work on their tennis skills, hand-eye skills, basic tennis stroke technique, ball & racket control, and have lots of fun! All abilities are welcome.Our Intermediate Adult Tennis Program is designed for those who already have the basic tennis strokes, can maintain a rally, and already know how to Serve, Rally and Score. It will consist of improving technique and will introduce singles/doubles strategies for match play.Inclement Weather Policy:If inclement weather is in the forecast, we will aim to make up lessons at the end of the session. Tennis in the Parks for Pre-K to Grade 10 - (Summer) TIP Orange/Green Ball Tennis in the Parks - The tennis program where kids play while they learn!The program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. Once the skills are there, participants will play fun matches with other players in the program. The Tiny Tanners, Red Ball, and Orange ball program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets, court sizes, and the latest fun and engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker!Meet the instructor:Returning to Peabody Recreation is Coach Maria Schena! Maria is a creative and engaging teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching students of all ages!Inclement Weather:If inclement weather is in the forecast, we will aim to make up lessons that same week when possible. If not, we will make it up at the end of the season. Be sure to check your email for potential postponement notifications. What to bring:-Water-A tennis racket (the instructor has extras for those who do not have one or forget theirs)Spring Registration for Residents and Non-Residents Opens 2/10 at 10am!

Adult Tennis In the Parks - (SUMMER) Intermediate Adult Tennis Adult Tennis In the Parks- Come Play! Our Adults Skills and Drills Tennis Program is designed for those who want to learn the fundamentals of tennis and for players looking to improve their game! Each night, players work on their tennis skills, hand-eye skills, basic tennis stroke technique, ball & racket control, and have lots of fun! All abilities are welcome.Our Intermediate Adult Tennis Program is designed for those who already have the basic tennis strokes, can maintain a rally, and already know how to Serve, Rally and Score. It will consist of improving technique and will introduce singles/doubles strategies for match play.Inclement Weather Policy:If inclement weather is in the forecast, we will aim to make up lessons at the end of the session. If we are not able to make this happen we will issue a credit. Be sure to check your email for potential postponement notifications.
