Growing up in this vibrant community, she developed a love for the outdoors and a commitment to enhancing the lives of those around her. Jackie’s educational journey began at Essex Tech High School, where she focused on Environmental Science and Technology. This foundation ignited her passion for creating programs that promote environmental awareness and sustainability. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Psychology, followed by a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. With this diverse educational background, Jackie brings a unique perspective to her role, blending her love for teaching with her dedication to community engagement. Having worked part-time for the Recreation Department for seven years at the Brooksby Outdoor Adventure Summer Program, Jackie honed her skills and built strong relationships within the community. A Hundred Years From Now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove… but the world may be a different place because I was important in the life of another. ~Kathy~
