Rainy Day Information
Due to COVID-19 indoor limitations, there is no indoor rain space and therefore, the program will be cancelled for the day if inclement weather is expected.
Field Trips / Special Events
- To make the cancellation decision, there needs to be a 63% chance of rain (or higher) on 3 weather app's.
- We hope to make all rain day decisions by 7pm the day before.
- If a day is cancelled, you will be credited for the day.
- If an unexpected storm appears during a program day, participants will go inside to the adjacent school gym and parents will be called to pick them up.
Due to current health and safety precautions, all field trips and field days are on hold for every session of every Tanners Playground program. We anticipate restrictions opening up and being able to take the participants on outdoor field trips. If this can happen, there will not be change in the price of the program.

If your child has diverse abilities, and you think your child would benefit from receiving support in this program from an inclusion specialist, please register for inclusion support, filling out all forms in as much detail as possible. Please note, this registration is not a separate program, but it is your way of asking our department for support services. We will do our best to support as many children as possible on a first come first serve basis.
